When we have big offerings ceremony anniversary of the temple we use to make”Gebogan”. Gebogan is a cylinder tower with high 0,5 meter up to 1 meter and contain with fruit, flower, Cake, roasted chicken on top. And incense sticks are put in the Gebogan to be blessed by the priests, before to be offered to the gods while everyone prays. The offerings is always a gorgeous sight to be hold.
Special skill and lots of experiences is needed to prepare a truly art full Gebogan. The flowers combination color, arranging fruit, cakes, placing the chicken with is head pointing skyward. adding woven young coconut leaves to adorn the offerings and the overall shape of the completed offerings. Once its stunning offerings, beautiful in every way. And ready to be eaten after it is blessed.
